Tree Trunk Vase

I made this tree trunk vase with a low grog red-brown clay.  I textured the bark with with natural molds I made myself by pressing raw clay into the base of a Live Oak tree—no harm was done to the tree!  I use two to three different bark molds on every vase and a vary the pattern so every vase is unique.  There are at least five different shades of deep grey and blacks to provide a truly natural coloration.  The vase has a deep maroon interior glaze, and the interior diameter is approximately 3”.
